1. Organizing Entity:

  • Shibari Dojo is the entity responsible for the online Yagami Ryu-style shibari course.
  • Shibari Dojo is the only official Yagami Ryu school in Spain, with certified and authorized instructors to teach this style.
  • All Shibari Dojo instructors have certifications, training, and experience in their respective areas of specialization. You can consult details about their certifications, training, and background on their respective profiles on this platform.

2. Object of the Contract:

These conditions regulate enrollment and participation in an online Yagami Ryu-style shibari course.

  • he course consists of five (5) individual online classes (1:1) between the student and instructor.
  • Each class lasts between one hundred and twenty (120) and one hundred and eighty (180) minutes.
  • The classes are not consecutive, with a maximum of one class per student per month.
  • The student has eighteen (18) months from the activation of their enrollment to schedule and complete the five classes.
  • Enrollment options with installment payments and scaled access to content reduce this period to three (3) months per module or lesson.
  • After this period, Shibari Dojo will not be obligated to teach any remaining classes.
  • In case that, for any reason, the instructors of Shibari Dojo are not available to teach classes for a period exceeding one (1) month, this period of unavailability will be added to the original eighteen (18) month period granted to the student to schedule and complete the corresponding classes. This extension will be notified to the student by email, indicating the new deadline.

3. Scheduling and Availability:

  • Classes will be scheduled by mutual agreement between Shibari Dojo instructors and students.
  • Shibari Dojo will try to accommodate students' time zones and availability.
  • Shibari Dojo will provide students with an online form to facilitate scheduling their classes.
  • Shibari Dojo reserves the right to establish the cadence and waiting periods between classes based on organizational reasons, availability, and the student's progress.
  • Shibari Dojo must provide a date for the next class when the student requests it.
  • In case an agreement cannot be reached on class dates between the student and Shibari Dojo instructors, it will be at Shibari Dojo's discretion to grant the student a pause in scheduling their classes or, alternatively, to suspend them definitively. In any case, such a pause or suspension will not affect or extend the total period of eighteen (18) months granted to the student to schedule and complete the classes.

4. Technical Requirements and Platform Access:

  • The student will not need to install software or create accounts on third-party platforms.
  • Access will be provided through the Shibari Dojo platform.
  • The student is responsible for having an Internet connection and suitable equipment for video calls.
  • The course includes lifetime access to the Shibari Dojo online platform, where additional review content and course-related material will be found.
  • Platform content may be modified, updated, or removed by Shibari Dojo without prior notice.

5. Enrollment Options and Access to Content:

  • There are different enrollment options, with varying levels of access to content.
  • Some content will be reserved for other users with different enrollments, and students of this course will not have the right to access it.

6. Account Deactivation Due to Inactivity:

  • If the student does not access the platform for a period of six (6) months, their account will be deactivated.
  • The student may request reactivation of the account at no additional cost.

7. Inquiries and Support:

  • The student may make quick inquiries to the instructors via electronic messaging (Telegram or others indicated).
  • The diligence and speed of responses will be subject to the instructors' availability.
  • This support service will be available during the first eighteen (18) months from the activation of the enrollment.

8. Waiver of Service Usage:

  • The non-utilization of some, several, or all of the services included in the course does not grant the right to demand their provision outside of the established deadlines and conditions.

9. Economic Conditions:

  • There are different enrollment options, with prices detailed on the registration page (link at the bottom of the page).
  • Prices may vary according to Shibari Dojo's commercial strategies and interests, affecting only future enrollments.

10. Payment Methods:

  • Payment methods are detailed and established on the corresponding page (link at the bottom of the page).

11. Enrollment Process:

  • Enrollment for the course will open on December 21, 2024, and will remain open until Shibari Dojo decides to close or temporarily suspend it for organizational or commercial reasons.
  • Students may enroll at any time, as the training is 1:1 and continuously available.
  • The enrollment process is semi-automatic; some steps require human verification, which may cause delays in the activation of the student's account.

12. Enrollment Activation:

  • The enrollment will not be considered effective until the payment of the corresponding amount is verified.
  • Once the payment is confirmed, an administrator will activate the student's account, assigning the corresponding accesses and notifying them by email.
  • The account activation date will be considered the start of the enrollment period for all purposes.

13. Student Progress and Certification:

  • The student's progress and performance are decisive for advancing in the learning process.
  • Shibari Dojo does not guarantee the acquisition of a specific level or competence solely by enrolling and participating in the course.
  • The evaluation of the student's progress will be carried out individually, with the issuance of a certificate detailing the techniques and skills acquired.

14. Disclaimer of Liability:

  • Shibari Dojo is not responsible for the misuse that the student may make of the acquired knowledge, nor for accidents or damages that may occur when putting into practice the techniques learned in the course.
  • Shibari Dojo is not responsible for accidents or technical problems that may occur during the online classes, due to failures in the student's equipment or connection.

15. Modifications:

  • Shibari Dojo reserves the right to modify these conditions.
  • Any modification will be notified to the students by email, sent to the address provided in the enrollment process.

16. Supplementary Application:

  • For anything not covered in these conditions, the General Terms and Conditions of the Shibari Dojo website will apply.
