On February 17, 2025, "縄 緊縛師・奈加あきらと縛られる女たち" ("Akira Naka, the Shibari Master and the Women Who Are Tied") will be released, a book written by Kannon Hanabusa that explores the life and art of shibari master Akira Naka.
This work offers an in-depth look at the philosophy and aesthetics of shibari as an artistic expression of sensuality, as well as its impact on the contemporary world, where it is practiced both in Japan and the West.
