No prior experience needed. If you already have some knowledge, our course will help you sharpen and consolidate your skills naturally and systematically.

Our online course caters to all experience levels, thanks to one-on-one personalized classes.

If you have prior experience

If you’re not a beginner, this course will help you refine and grow your existing skills with a clear, step-by-step approach.

Personal requirements

We highly recommend enrolling as a pair—one person tying, the other being tied.

You can switch roles during the classes. This is important, since our erotic shibari training is based on equality and mutual exchange.

The course fee covers both members of the pair.

You don’t need to be romantic partners, but you do need mutual trust and a commitment to learn together.

Technical requirements

You’ll need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a stable internet connection for video calls—that’s the main requirement.

No extra software needed—classes take place on our platform, and study materials are accessible on any browser.

For privacy and reliability, we recommend Firefox.

You’ll need a camera and microphone for classes.

Since both tying and being tied are involved, classes must be attended as a pair. This makes practicing, learning, and applying the techniques much easier.

Space

No special setup is needed for your practice space—no ceiling anchors or complicated equipment required.

Any clear room will do, as long as it’s free from tripping hazards.

Wooden floors are great. While tatami is the traditional Japanese flooring, it’s not essential. For hard surfaces like tile or concrete, lay down a rug or mat to provide comfort and prevent slipping.

Materials

Don’t worry about rope at the very start. You won’t need it much in the first module, and it only becomes essential by the third.

Three standard-length ropes (around 7–8 meters each) are enough for all exercises and techniques.

We also recommend a short rope (about 2 meters) to make learning and handling easier.

Clothing

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and don’t mind getting a bit dirty on the floor—most activities take place at ground level.

Additional items

Some exercises may call for props, such as yoga blocks or weights. No stress—we’ll suggest simple household alternatives when needed.
